As you’re reading this, (or I’m typing this) I have officially been a Kreiser for a month and two weeks! How exciting is that??!!!! I am a WIFE! Mike is my HUSBAND! I get butterflies every time he calls me his wife. Silly how that happens and it feels like we’ve been married for years! I will have a post of wedding pictures once I get them all back. I’m so excited to see them all- below, I will post my favorite from our sneak peak. We had the time of our lives that day and I honestly have never seen Mike look more handsome ;)
Weeks prior and after the wedding were of course, completely chaotic, and since we’ve had a lot going on these past few weeks, I have made sure this week is strictly scheduled as:
Nothing to Do!
I’m sitting here, in-between rain clouds, relaxing on the porch, eating slices of watermelon with my Keegan and I can’t help but think that “doing nothing” could not get any better!!! We’ve had a couple fun adventures in the beginning of summer and we’ve taken a short hiatus so today I’m in the process of making a bucket list of the adventures I would like us to take before it gets chilly! Nothing wrong with working on a to-do list while the schedule says 'nothing to do!' ;)
As for catching up, there has been lots of decisions and reflecting going these past few weeks about the rest of our lives and I can’t help but get excited for the future!
-Life with a toddler will soon become life with a preschooler- I have his registration form on the counter waiting to be mailed.
-Life in Schuylkill County will soon become life in Lancaster County- we are moving closer to Mike’s job, more opportunities for us as a family and our little guy!
-Life as a family of three (plus Bear)…. will be staying as life as a family of three ;)… for the next while, anyway. We have a lot of things we want to do, accomplish and experience before we are prepared to add another child, but if we’re blessed in that meantime until we’re ready, then that’s okay with us, too.
So yes, we are in moving mode which means we have been busy revamping and cleaning and tossing and donating. REPEAT. REPEAT. REPEAT. But how exciting is it that soon I will be able to spend more time with my...... wait for it…. Husband!!! LOL love it!
As for my days with Keegan, they have been nothing short of fun. We love these long summer days, except for the days Daddy only gets through the door at 8 o'clock. It honestly hasn’t been too hot for us and we have the perfect rainy day breaks in between the warm days. Keegan's speech through the IU has been on summer break for the past few weeks so its just me doing therapy until mid July…. Lots of stuff to catch up on over the next couple of posts!!! Hope everyone takes time out of their schedule to DO NOTHING with the people you love!!
Have a fabulous day everybody! (OK, who else watches The CHEW?! Love Clinton!!)
